So i hope your all excited this weak. I cant wait to see what happens to my friends that are in bands that have played just the right amount of shows over the past year to be considered on the verge of something. They are right on the verge of thinking they are going to make a whole lot of money and prove it to themselves that becoming a touring artist is something worth living for…cant wait for that sxsw show your gonna be playing at at 2 pm this coming march to a whopping 20 person crowd. This week is all about corporate reach around and branding and free booze, long lines, and people visiting from a small town to see the bands that already play here a bunch. If your from norway or someshit and i havent heard of you and this is my only chance to see you!!! omg i really give a fuck. Im sure your cd sounds just the fucking same without having to stand behind some bitch who works for krxp in fucking utah that keeps her badge around her necking like its stopping some kind of period from coming out the back of her neck. Go ahead and wear that low v neck that shows your boobs because your gonna have that badge covering most of the cleave and then when things are really crazy and you’ve gotten into that late night party you rsvp’d for like a week ago to this “buzz band” your fuck buddy told you about over the phone, the one your staying with, the guy you met one night while he was at sundance in utah and you had all the shit going on then and seemed important, well he’s returning the favor by letting you crash at his place with your other “hot friend.” You can then go back to Utah and write some journal entry about how magical your new york cmj trip was and get back to being a lifer in utah screwing whichever guy doesnt know the last guy you screwed at whatever 3 bars you go to in the cool part of utah. So a couple weaks left to get your halloween costume straight, im sure you got a lot of “great ideas.” Some mix between period piece and current events slash futuristic outerspace thing going on. It would be a lot easier if you were a dog or cat. Think about it. There is a lot of stuff going on for CMJ this weak. Webster Hall has a bunch of free shows this weak, my buddy dumped this girl and she started dating the guy in Crystal Stilts, might go check them out with ponytail. My roomate and a bunch of others are at Pianos on wednesday. Pianos is just one of those places you can never say enough good things about. Thursday through Saturday Jelly has all these things going on at the hotel rivington. Lotsostuff including these cool dogs:

So wuts everybody got goin on this weekend. I have a feeling its gonna be a forced one. Those are usually the worst because you have to do something and if you dont already know whats up by know you’ll probably end up at a couple bars or shows that end up making you around 50 to 100 dollars poorer. The Wild Yaks are playing at Monkeytown on Saturday. The Baltimore round robin is today and tomorrow and couldnt be at a more douchie spot. They charge 7 dollars for cans of beer. How about you just look me in the face and spit some kind of std-laced acid on my face instead. There is a birthday party apparently at Shangri-La on Saturday and maybe something tonight at a place called Vanishing Point Studios. A whole bunch of crap. Next week is gonna make up for it at least.
